Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken Drumsticks Recipe

chicken.jpg

chicken Here is one of my favorite recipes to make in a hurry. Not only does marinading your meat reduce Heterocyclic Amines (HCAs) which cause cancer, it makes meat taste way better!

Ingredients that you can purchase online for this recipe are Coconut AminosHimalayan SaltOrganic Ground Cumin and Organic Black Pepper.

Cinnamon Glazed Almonds

Here is my Cinnamon Roasted Almond Recipe.

Cinnamon Glazed Almonds
Prep time:
Cook time:
Total time:
Serves: 6
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup clean water
  • 1-2 tablespoons organic cinnamon
  • 1 cup coconut palm sugar
  • 2 cups soaked raw almonds
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, mix and boil water, cinnamon and sugar
  2. After it boils, stir in almonds and reduce heat to medium
  3. Continue stirring mixture for about 25-30 minutes until mixture becomes very chunky
  4. All liquid must evaporate to cause mixture to crystallize on the almonds
  5. Immediately after this happens, spread the almonds out on a sheet with aluminum foil or wax paper
  6. Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before eating (This is the longest 5 minutes ever!)
